Otley Otters on Saturday 9th December at Clifton Village hall, Otley (£75 in two payments)

Description

At the Otley Otter workshop I will teach you some of the key skills needed to create a truly unique and wonderful hand made sculpture. This is a one off workshop in recognition of this years sightings of the Otters found in the River Wharfe nearby.

Please note that your Otter sculpture can be made to hold a small lamp and will be slightly bigger than those that have gone before!. 

The workshop is perfect for beginners and those more experienced. It will be restricted to a small number of participants and will run for the majority of the day.

Please arrive after 9.30 for a 10am start and we will aim to finish for before 3.30. The groups are warm and friendly where nobody is left behind – all abilities are very welcome.

The workshop includes a full days tuition, excellent quality clay, all sculptors tools, 2x firings, brews and biscuits.

 Please note, your sculptures will be ready within approx 4 weeks to collect from me once they are fired. 

Clifton Village Hall is Located just outside the historic market town of Otley and set in the stunning surroundings of the Wharfe Valley.

It is very accessible from both Leeds, Harrogate and the surrounding area. There is plenty of free parking, a pub serving food next door, cafes and and shops nearby in Otley too. However most bring a packed lunch to keep things easy.
